Facebook Purity a Browser Extension That Removes Some of the Evil
F.B. (Fluff Busting) Purity is a Facebook customizing browser extension. It alters your view of Facebook to show only relevant information to you. It lets you remove the annoying and irrelevant posts from your newsfeed such as game and application spam, ads and sponsored posts. It can also hide the boxes you don't want to see on each side of the newsfeed.
I am still on Facebook,because reasons, most of them having to do with keeping up with family. I'm fully aware of how evil it is. It's definitely a net negative on society.

Like several bazillion other users, I like using Facebook to keep tabs on what my friends are up to. What I don't like is the endless stream of "so-and-so took this quiz" and "Joe became friends with Jane" messages and "What Kind of Jedi Are You?" come-ons.
That's why I just became a fan of Facebook Purity, a browser extension / add-on that removes those annoying quiz and application notifications from your Facebook home page.
Personally, I'm loving this add-on. Anything that cuts down Facebook clutter is a winner in my book.
