Just a Reminder That Facebook is Evil
Every once in a while, everyone who still uses Facebook or Instagram or Threads or any other product of Meta and Mark Zuckerberg should be required to spend an hour or so reading through the latest news on how evil the company is. I'm not telling anyone not to use those apps because many people, including me, have reasons why we maintain accounts on one or more of them, but we need to do it with the full knowledge of what we are taking part in. Meta apps illegally market to minors, the same minors they have knowingly exposed to sexual predators. Meta apps censor LGBT voices while simultaneously giving a protected platform to violent ant-trans groups. The Meta experience is scientifically designed to lull you into accepting what the company's algorithm wants you to see and it is one of the most invasive companies in the history of tech. Just know this before clicking the next Like button.
