Mindhunter
Mindhunter ran on Netflix for two 10-episode seasons before going on an indefinite hiatus that eventually led to an announcement that the show would not be returning. It tells the story of the early days of the FBI's criminal psychology and criminal profiling unit. Several famous serial killers are portrayed with chilling accuracy including Richard Speck, Ed Kemper, David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz and Charles Manson.
Season one takes place in the 1977-1980 time period. Season two takes place in 1980-81 and covers the FBI's role in the investigation of the Atlanta child murders and the arrest and subsequent conviction of Wayne Willams for the killing of two adult men, blaming him, but never charging him for the other killings.
