Slow Horses - The Books
The hit show, Slow Horses on AppleTV+ just started its fourth season. The series is based on a group of British MI5 agents relegated to a satellite office and perfunctory duties as punishment for various screw-ups. Led by a brilliant veteran agent, Jackson Lamb, with his own tattered reputation, the characters in the show surprise everyone, time and again by succeeding against long odds against the enemies of the United Kingdom. The show is based on a series of novels by Mick Herron, eight in total. So far, the series has followed the books in order. The television plots follow the books closely Herron is involved in the production and had OK'd or suggested any variance from his original stories.
