Stream Team - An Indy Web Gem
One of the first newsletters I signed up for when I dipped my toes into the world that is the IndieWeb was Kyle's Junk Drawer, a weekly missive from Kyle Ford, a computer dude from California with the some well formed opinions on what's entertaining. I also followed Kyle on Mastodon, @kyleford@hachyderm.io.
Recently, Kyle started a community online, Stream Team, formed around streaming TV. He describes it thus:

You just need to know what's good, what's bad (which can of course also be good) and what's absolutely unmissable.
Stream Team has your back.
Get TV and movie recommendations from the community (including entertainment industry veterans), share your latest obsessions, fight amongst yourselves over what's great/what sucks, laugh, cry, fall in love, get your heart broken, etc.
Most of the action is free, and we're planning to layer on some optional paid areas/features in the future as we see what works and what the teeming masses demand.
