Who Doesn't Love a Nap
I may be the only person in America who works the day shift and still takes a nap before work. My wife is perpetually in training for her next ultramarathon. She gets up at 4:30am in order to get in a run of sufficient distance before work. I like to get up with her to chat for a few minutes and have a cup of coffee, maybe doing some computer stuff before she leaves for her run. Once she's gone however, I kick my bare feet up on the coffee table and doze back off until she gets home. But wait, that's not all! During my one-hour lunch break at work, I dedicate the last 30 minutes each day to a parking lot nap before returning to my office for a cup of Cafe Bustelo, a dark Dominican coffee to begin my afternoon. In my defense, I am one of 22 million Americans who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and it has been many years since I got a good night's rest. Naps are my savior.
