Who Doesn't Love Pizza
Pizza as we know it today, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and toppings, was first created in 1889 in Naples, Italy. The original pie was in the style of what we call the Margherita was made to honor an Italian queen and featured basil leaves so that the colors of the dish matched those on the Italian flag.
